How Fleetworks turns every web inquiry into 10 prospects using Findymail's MCP and AI
How a non-technical founder built an AI prospecting system on Findymail's MCP that finds and qualifies leads automatically.
Fleetworks, a UK SaaS platform that automates traffic violation handling for fleet operators, used to spend 20+ minutes finding a single quality email address. Today, one web inquiry automatically triggers an AI workflow that researches the company, finds their competitors, and returns the names and email addresses of the right contacts at all of them - ready to be loaded into a cold email campaign. The system is built on Findymail's MCP server, and was set up by a non-technical founder in a couple of hours.
With Findymail, Fleetworks:
- Turned every web inquiry into up to 10 qualified prospects automatically
- Went from 20+ minutes per email address to near-instant results
- Built a self-filling pipeline that runs without daily manual effort
- Connected Findymail to their AI agent via MCP in a couple of hours
Meet Fleetworks
Fleetworks is a UK-based SaaS platform that helps fleet operators handle traffic violations - parking tickets, speeding fines, bus lane penalties and more. When a rental company's customers get tickets, someone has to either pay them or nominate the driver to transfer the liability. That process involves filling in different forms for hundreds of different UK enforcement authorities, each with their own requirements and online portals.
Fleetworks automates the whole thing. Using robotic process automation, the platform takes the minimum input from the user and handles the rest - cutting the time to process a ticket from four or five minutes down to 15 to 20 seconds. Marc Lee is Founder and Director at Fleetworks and has been building out their sales and prospecting infrastructure as the business grows.
The challenge
Finding the right people to sell to in fleet management is genuinely hard. The person responsible for handling traffic violations isn't always the same role across companies - in one business it might be a fleet administrator, in another it could be a transport manager or operations coordinator. That inconsistency made it difficult to target effectively.
Before Findymail, Fleetworks pieced together contacts from industry membership lists, cold calls to find email addresses, and free tools that scraped LinkedIn - with mixed results. The hit rate was low and the quality was lower.
"We were probably spending 20 minutes or more, I bet it was more, to find one good quality email address. And that did not add up. So we paused it for a while." - Marc Lee, Founder & Director at Fleetworks
The result was an inconsistent outreach motion - bursts of cold email activity followed by long pauses. The pipeline would fill up and then empty, with no steady flow of new prospects coming in to replace deals that converted or went cold.
The solution
Marc connected with Valentin - Findymail's founder - through Tiny Seed, the startup accelerator they both joined in the same year. Valentin's advice was simple and consistent: send more emails. The problem was that finding the right people to send to was taking too long. Findymail changed that.
But what Marc built on top of it is what makes this story worth telling.
One inquiry, ten prospects
Marc built an AI workflow using an AI agent connected to Findymail via its MCP server. When someone fills in a contact form on the Fleetworks website, the inquiry is automatically forwarded to the AI. From there, it:
- Researches the company that inquired - size, directors, LinkedIn profiles, key details
- Identifies up to 10 competitors of that company - local, regional, and national
- Uses Findymail's Lookalike feature to find similar prospects at each competitor
- Returns the names, job titles, and email addresses of the fleet managers, MDs, and CEOs at those businesses
- Loads those contacts into their cold email platform, ready for outreach
One inbound inquiry now generates up to 10 outbound prospects - automatically, without anyone on the team lifting a finger.
"I get one web inquiry, but I actually generate 10 prospects. The next step is I say to the AI - you've got all this information from Findymail - now go into our cold email system and put those details in as a new record ready for the cold email to be launched." - Marc Lee
The research email
Marc also built a second trigger: a "research" email. When he spots a company that looks like a good fit - say, a van with a logo on the side - he can send a simple email with the company name and URL. The AI picks it up, runs the same research and Lookalike process, and sends back a curated list of competitors with contact details.
What used to take an employee two to three hours a day now happens in the time it takes to send an email.
"I did for about a year employ someone and part of his job each day was to find an industry, then go away and find five sub-industries, and then find the top 10 biggest companies in each sub-industry. That would take them hours. Now I just do the research email to the AI and it does it straight away." - Marc Lee
Built by a non-technical founder
Marc is not a developer. He built the whole system - an AI agent connected to OpenRouter, tied into Findymail's MCP server, feeding into their cold email platform - without writing a single line of code. He describes the Findymail MCP integration as particularly simple: he pointed the AI at Findymail's help pages, gave it the API key, and it was ready to go.
"All I did was say to it, here's the web address for Findymail's help pages. Go there, tell me what you need. And then it asked for the API key. I gave it the API key. Done." - Marc Lee
The first time the full workflow ran and he got back a detailed email with research on a company he recognised - competitors identified, contacts found - was the moment it clicked. What had previously taken an employee hours of manual work had happened automatically, and the output was better.
The results
A pipeline that fills itself
Fleetworks is still in the process of ramping up cold email volume - the system is built and working, and the focus right now is on refining the outreach templates and guardrails before scaling. But the infrastructure is in place: a prospect pipeline that generates and qualifies its own leads, without daily manual effort from the team.
"What I'm aiming for is a cold email campaign that basically is forever getting its own information. It's filling itself up." - Marc Lee
Time back for the work that matters
The hours that used to go into finding contact data are now going back into the business. For a team of seven people, that matters. Marc sees the role of AI as taking over the research and admin so the humans can focus on what AI can't do - having real conversations with prospects.
"The objective is that we can get to the point where the AI can't do the work. When the customer says, can you ring me - we've got time to make that call, because we're not spending hours trying to find prospects." - Marc Lee
A foundation that scales
Fleetworks currently operates in the UK, but the model they're building isn't limited to one market. Once the system is refined domestically, the same workflow can be pointed at any geography. The prospecting infrastructure will scale with it.
"Everything that we learn about advertising and about data gathering using Findymail in the UK - the minute we say, right, we want to find customers in France or Germany - that's when we can really start to benefit from the skill we've developed." - Marc Lee
Why Marc recommends Findymail
"You don't have to build what Findymail have built. You can just ask the AI to go and work with Findymail and come back and give you the responses. It's cheap to get to the point of being able to use it and benefit from it. And it's easy to do."
- Marc Lee, Founder & Director, Fleetworks

The impact
- Every web inquiry now generates up to 10 qualified prospects automatically - without manual research.
- Contact finding went from 20+ minutes per email to near-instant via the AI and MCP workflow.
- A self-filling pipeline is in place, replacing an inconsistent burst-and-pause outreach pattern.
- The whole system was built by a non-technical founder using Findymail's MCP - no developer required.
- The same infrastructure is ready to scale into new markets when Fleetworks expands internationally.
